More importantly, her demeanor is recognizably local, embodying the Brooklyn woman who can be courteous but won’t tolerate nonsense. Though consistently proper and feminine, she confronts both Sonny and Sal. Even when their threat level seems low, her performance conveys Colleen’s clear understanding of the danger these two clowns represent.
